As another incredible year draws to a close, we can’t help but look back and reflect on our successes this year.
After securing an impressive €15 million Series D funding at the end of November 2023, we arrived at the new year rejuvenated and ready to take on the world. 2024 was a year of positive transformation at Meniga, AI-focused product development, and strengthening the ties with our valued customers. Scaling our AI-driven Products & Cloud nativity
At Meniga, we are laser-focused on building the world’s most engaging and advanced digital banking solutions. That is why in 2024, we went all out in developing and solidifying our solutions, in particular advancing our AI-powered Insights product which drives hyper-personalisation for Banks, and also modernising our tech stack to be not only cloud-compatible, but fully cloud-native.

This year, we underwent a complete reorganisation in order to cement our identity as a product-led and data-driven FinTech underpinned by future-proof technology. Not only did we welcome almost 30% new Menigans into our family, but we brought in key hires including industry leaders like Arturo Rivasainz as Chief Product Officer and Marek Wawro as Chief Technology Officer. We continue to build a culture of innovation & performance that is instrumental to ensuring we reach our Big Hairy Audacious Goals. We will be looking into expanding our team even more in 2025. A Bold New Identity: Meniga’s Rebrand
One of the standout achievements of the year was the launch of our new brand and website. Over the past 15 years, Meniga has experienced a massive transformation, growing from a small start-up to become a digital innovation partner to some of the world’s leading financial institutions. To reflect this change, we adopted a fresh, new look that represents our values of trustworthiness, growth, and innovation.
Customer Conference
A major highlight was hosting a wildly successful Customer Conference in Iceland, where we invited clients from all over the world for a day of networking and knowledge sharing. The crisp, seaside atmosphere inspired a day of fresh ideas and insightful discussions on topics like “The Uncanny Valley in the context of AI.” Our guests also enjoyed an exclusive preview of our product roadmap. In 2025 and beyond, AI will continue to remain at the heart of our innovation strategy, including Gen-AI enabled Financial Management features, AI-powered communication policies for Insights, and Advanced Users Profiling for maximised hyper-personalisation.
The day after the conference, we treated our guests to an amazing sightseeing tour of Iceland’s top attractions including magnificent geysers, stunning waterfalls, and the ever-impressive Northern Lights.

Awards and Accolades
Our dedication to innovation did not go unnoticed. Our pioneering Insights product was awarded “Best Customer Insights Solution” at the Global BankTech Awards by The Digital Banker, highlighting its ability to increase trust, enhance digital banking, and unlock new revenue streams for banks and financial institutions. Meniga was also recognised amongst the top data management providers in the financial services industry by earning a place at the coveted DataTech50 list by FinTech Global.
